Inauguration of 'Matru vandana saptaah' under PMMVY scheme from 2nd DEC to 8th DEC was done by Shri Bhaskar Pegu, Deputy Commissioner, Tinsukia alongwith Shri Pabitra Kumar Das, Addl.Deputy Commissioner, Tinsukia, Dr Sanjib Phukan,Circle Officer Tinsukia Revenue Circle, Smt. Aparupa Borgohain, Assistant Commissioner Tinsukia, Shri Madhurjya Buragohain, Assistant Commissioner, Margherita and representatives of line departments .They discussed the objectives of PMMVY scheme in detail and asked the Anganwadi supervisors and workers to do mass awareness about the scheme so that more number of intended beneficiaries gets enrolled into the scheme.
A selfie corner was also arranged where mother alongwith her first child clicked a selfie. At last the District Administration encourages for a successful 'Matru Vandana Saptaah'.
